Liebster Award

I have been nominated again by 4 different bloggers for the Liebster Award over the past few weeks. WOW, that means my blog has been nominated with a total of 6 times. You can read my first post about the award here.

This post is going to be a lengthy one. I will answer all 4 of the bloggers questions who nominated me and I will also nominate other blogs for this award. It is only fair to help other bloggers who are working hard to get out in there. I hope that all of you enjoy reading this.

What is the Liebster Award?

In the blogging world it is an award for new bloggers who are just starting out. This award gets passed around by other bloggers who were nominated and they nominate other new bloggers. This helps getting the new blogs noticed. Pretty cool, huh? Basically, the purpose of the Liebster Award is to get blogs with less than 200 followers noticed.

Rules

1. Thank your Liebster Award presenter on your blog and link back to their blog.

2. Answer the 11 questions from the nominator, list 11 random facts about yourself and create 11 questions for your nominees.

3. Present the Liebster Blog Award to 11 blogs that has 200 followers or less whom you feel deserve to be noticed. Be sure to leave them a comment on their blog to let them know they have been chosen.

4. Copy and paste the blog award on to your blog. It is an award so show it off! Wink...Wink.

Thank You

I want to thank the 4 bloggers who took the time to view my blog and nominated me for this award. It truly means a lot and it shows that people do pay attention to what is going on in the blogging world. That in itself is a great feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off.

Cindy at Little Miss Celebration who nominated me on March 21, 2013.

Un Super Mom at My Crazy, Mixed Up, Oh so Sweet Life who nominated me on April 10, 2013.

Pinterest Monday #10: Crochet

First off, I would like to say that my thoughts goes out to the runners and their families in Boston during the marathon. How very sad that this tragedy has happen.

Secondly, you will notice that I have not been posting many projects. They are coming. I have been fighting an sinus infection...what a nice spring welcome...Not! Also, my craft room is in the process of being rearranged which is turning out to be a mess. I keep asking myself why I am doing this since we will be moving in less than a year. But I must be organized and when I do not feel organized, I feel like a caotic mess! Not a Creative Mess...Ha!

Anyways...don't worry, I will have my work up in no time.

For this week, I found some really cute crochet stuff. So for Pinterest Monday we are going to focus on crochet.

Creative Exchange 2013

I am excited to post that I have participated in my first creative exchange!

What is a Creative Exchange?

It is a chance to meet new people and exchange creative gifts. You and your partner exchange emails, social media, and what ever else that helps to get to know each other. It is a great way to form friendship from all over.

My creative swap partner is Brooke from Covered in Grace. She has a fabulous blog and pinterest board. Also, she is a consultant for It Works and Scentsy.

I have learned that we have some things in common. We both like photography and to create. We are both mothers and wives. I have also learned that Brooke likes to write.

Intially, my thought would to give her a journal since she likes to write, but I really wanted to do something different and not go for the obvious. That would be too easy, right?

So, for my creative exchange gift, I decided to make some reversible fabric coasters that can be used on any surface. It protects the surface from your drinking glass scratching the table or it absorbs the moisture so that it will not damage the surface. These can be used in any room.

I hope that Brooke will enjoy these cute fabric coasters.
